SOULFLY Bassist Hospitalized Following Mild Stroke
September 15, 2006SOULFLY bassist Bobby Burns suffered a mild stroke Thursday (Sept. 14) and will remain in a doctor's care until he is fully recovered. There is no word yet as to who will take his place on SOULFLY's upcoming U.S. tour, which is scheduled to kick off Monday (Sept. 18) in San Diego. Burns is expected to recover fully and will rejoin the band for their Australian tour at the end of October.

SOULFLY is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Dark Ages", available now on Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy" was produced by mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.
